Hello Andrina and Carina,
Here a little news from Berkers family and Timmy (as we now call Bouncerman). Our little fellow is lying now at my feet while I am writing to you..Sorry that it is already november before you hear something from us, but summer was unexpectedly quite sad for us as my husbands father became very ill and died. You can understand that we had to travel back and forth to the Netherlands to be with the family.
But Timmy is doing very fine, I enclose some pictures of him. Everybody loves our little friend. The best compliment we got is from a friend who said that it seems that Timmy belonged to us for ages already.
Our dayprogramme has not changed much: so in the morning I walk the dog 45 minutes (good excercise for mummy...), early afternoon Irene (our eldest daugther 12 years) walks him half hour, same for our youngest daughter round 18.00 and in the evening my husband loves to walk with him more that 40 minutes.
He loves to walk in the forest: he has already met more than 1 time a moose with 2 calves. He was at first frightened but then wanted to catch them and you can imagine that I was not happy with that!! Also did he see the first snow this weekend, he was so happy when he was running through the snow.
The girls love Timmy a lot and I must say that they are very conscious about taking care of him. They learned him also tricks...We can see that he enjoys playing a lot. He is also very protective, he takes care that no one is doing harm to our children. When we hug and tickle the girls he immediately jumps on the bed and wants to join us and 'warn' us not to be too rough with the kids!
Whenever we have to leave and he cant come with us (e.g. when we had to go to the funeral) we found a very good hundpensionat in the neighbourhood. It seems that he really enjoys to be there and play with other dogs. And sometimes our neighbours help us, they have 3 sons that adore our little dog and dont mind walking him when we are away.
Timmy has also a girlfriend : a golden retriever called Lucy. She is owned by German friends here in our village. And sometimes we arrange a playdate. You must see them running after eachother in the garden!!
We cannot imagine a live without Timmy anymore, he is such a part of our live now! Thank you for bringing him to Sweden!
